Sheffield University's Richard Roberts building (the first university building on the right as you go up Western Bank from the roundabout) is under occupation until Sunday, in opposition to cuts in the public sector and education. The space is open all day and people are welcome to call in, especially with messages of support or donations of food, blankets or anything else to share.
Today (Saturday) there is a Unite Against the Cuts demonstration by Sheffield Students Union and UCU union. Tomorrow there is a 4pm public meeting (see below)
