An extraordinary documentary by Katherine Round, "The Divide" follows the stories of people well-off and struggling, and the impact of the divide between them, inspired by the critically-acclaimed, bestselling book The Spirit Level by Richard Wilkinson and Kate Pickett.
In association with Sheffield Equality Group, to be followed by a discussion of the issues on Wed. 18th May (7-9pm, Quaker Meeting House).
Part of Festival of Debate 2016, hosted by Opus Independents (which also publishes the Alt-Sheff "Localcheck" column in "Now Then" magazine). Free to attend, but please register so they can get an idea of numbers.
