Ice and Fire theatre company returns to the Uni for a must-see performance, followed by question and answer session with refugees. Asylum Monologues is a first-hand eye-opening account of the UK asylum system, in the words of people who have actually experienced it. Launched at Amnesty International in June 2006, it has been touring the UK ever since. The script is regularly updated with new testimonies.Event co-hosted by STAR (Student Action For Refugees), Sheffield City of Sanctuary and Community Rendez-Vous, the University French Department's asylum seeker project.
