Friends of the Earth Sheffield Group. People from all walks of life who share a common concern for the state of the planet and a desire to do something about it. Membership of Sheffield FOE is free if you subscribe to the electronic newsletter. A bid to include a target to decarbonise UK electricity generation by 2030 was narrowly defeated in the House of Commons on 4th June. Now the House of Lords could help put the decarbonisation target back on track. Several members of Sheffield FOE have sent personal letters to members of the lords urging them to support the amendment.Sheffield FOE website
